Free Trees for Town and Parish Councils

The Free Trees for Town and Parish Councils Scheme is a brand-new initiative from Stratford District Council, which will offer a total of £50,000 to local councils to plant trees on council owned land. Applicants will be able to choose what trees they wish to purchase, as long as they are a species that is native to the UK. The application window is now open, and submissions will be assessed on a first come first served basis, up until Friday 16 January at the latest.
